How Did You Feel the Day Before You Met Your Soulmate?
“How did you feel the day before you met your soulmate?” Said the interviewer to the woman sitting in the chair in front of the interviewer. The woman sat there and thought there for a few minutes. Until she said something,
“I’m not sure, but I do know that it wasn't one of my best days. But the next day was the start of the best years of my life.” The woman seemed happy to say that last part because of the smile and daydreaming look on her face. It was the look of true love. Then the interviewer looked at the woman and smiled. It was a soft smile. Then she looked to the side as she was saying to get the next person and leave. So the woman did.
The next person was a man. He was not your ordinary person. Just very different in general. But a gentle giant… he was a tall man. A bit on the older side, maybe around 45 ish. But once he started talking…
“Hey, do I just sit here? Ok, thank you.” He was the happiest person on the earth. With a huge smile that grew across his face every time he talked. He sat down and looked at the interviewer to see what they had to ask him. And they did ask.
“How did you feel the day before you met your soulmate?” When they said that, the man looked down and smiled. After a while of looking down, he started to cry. The interviewer didn’t know what to do. But then the man looked up and said…
“Sorry for crying. It’s just that my soulmate is not with me anymore and it’s hard to not cry whenever the topic comes up. But I remember it like it was just last week…” He continued “The day before I found the love of my life. It was not a good day I would say. It was a bad day actually. I spilled my coffee all over me on my way to work and my boss yelled at me for it. I thought that something good was to happen the next day and I was right. The next day was the best day of my life.” After he said all of those things he started to break down. But he knew that he was done so he got up from his chair and walked out of the room as the next person came in…
