“What Happened Here?”

“Bye, Mom! I miss you!” Theo said with a smile on his face as the train started to slowly drift away.

“Bye Bye, my little pumpkin! I hope you have fun!” Mom said with that same smile that was shown on Theo’s face. His mother had no idea what he was doing once he got to Sicily.

Theo put his head back on the train because the ticket man had come.

“Tickets! Tickets!” He said from under his vast Go-T. He was a bigger man. But he was still fit for his height. He opened his hand for his phone to see his ticket. But Theo didn’t understand that. So he asked…

     “What do you want?”

“I need your phone to see your ticket! Or is it a paper version?” The ticket man said with a stern look in his eyes that had spooked Theo.

“Oh, umm ok... Here!” when Theo was saying that, he was looking frantically around himself till he found his phone. He opened it with the password “369517” He had an Apple iPhone. But everyone does. He just wanted to fit in with the world around him. So he has an iPhone. But back to the story. He had opened his iPhone to find his ticket in his photos. He then showed it to the ticket man and he moved past him and to the people in front of him.

“That was a close one” He had said in his head. Theo does have a habit of talking and thinking to himself. But he would need it for this trip he was taking.

                                               +3 days earlier+

Theo was studying in the library of his University. He was looking for a book for a Bio class. But he then saw a book with his last name written on it spine of it

“Tremblay”

It was weird. His family is from the country. They haven't done anything big enough to get a WHOLE book written about them. Then he remembered what his mother had told him once.

“Your father was a big man. And I don't mean in size. But in Power. He was a big name in a certain name of business.”

“But what kind of business did he do?” Theo said quietly to himself.

He went to an empty chair at a table and opened the book. It had a picture of his father in a black suit and a fedora. It was black and white.

“So this was taken when he was in his 20’s. So that means the 50s?!” Theo said a bit too loud. Everyone around him looked at him and he then said…

“Sorry, I didn't mean to be soo loud!”

After that, he took his stuff and that book with him. He got back to his dorm and bought a train ticket for Sicily, Italy.

“Ok… Let’s do this. Time to find out what happened to my father.”

                                                +Present Time+

“Hey, where are you going? Hey! I’m talking to you!” An old man said to Theo from across the eil.

“Oh, I’m going to Sicily! What about you?” Theo said with a friendly wide smile on his face.

“Oh im just going to Dijon. You sure are going far. I’m surprised you're not on an overnight train.” The old man said to Theo with a surprised look on his face. But after he said that, it made both of them laugh. It was a weird happening but it happened. And it was a good thing it did because you could tell from all the sweat on his face that he was a lot of nervous. But It’s okay because anyone would be nervous when going to see a Mafia group that your dad had led in the fifties.

“Oh ok, so you're not on here for very long are you?” Theo giggled a little after saying that. It wasn’t a hard giggle. It was a nice giggle. One that made him look more attractive than he is.

“No, I’m not! Well, I guess have a good trip!” The old man said as he got up and left the train. They had already gotten to Dijon, France.

“I guess this will be good by fast or I just need to talk to people and have that pass the time,” Theo said to himself. It was gonna be a long train ride. Good thing though that he has to get to a different train station in Milan and another city in southern Italy. That should keep him going. But suddenly he started to listen to music and drifted asleep. His head was tilted on the window the body being supported by the backpack that was under him. He slept and slept, and slept. He was asleep for about 4 to 5 hours. When he woke up, he slowly lifted his head. Once he realized that he wasn’t where he was 5 hours ago, he looked at his phone as fast as he could to see that… his still about 1 hour and 45 mins away from Milan. He looked out the window until he got to the train station.

Once he got to Milan Train Station, He looked around trying to find his train. There were so many people and different hallways and doors to who knew where. He had to ask around for what train to take to Naples. He asked about 5 different people before she told him where to go. He said thank you and was on his way. He made it to the train with about 15 minutes before it left for Naples. So Theo put his bags on the train and sat down. Once he sat down he went on his phone and started to watch videos, play little games, and listen to music till the train started to move on the tracks to Naples.

                                               +Messina, Italy+

He made it. Well to Sicily. Not Cantina. He still has one more rain to take him to Cantina. Again he looked around to see what train he was going to be on. But this train station was a lot smaller than the ones in Naples and Milan. So he could find what train he was gonna be on. He got there a bit too early so he went to get food from the food court that was there. He got a Caesar salad and ate it quickly so he still has time to get back to the train station.
Once he was done he threw the delicious salad away and didn’t run but walked fast back to the train station that had his train. He got there almost late. So he got his bags on there and sat down with a sigh.

“God that was stressful…” He said to himself. A woman said something to him from behind but he couldn’t hear her so he said.

“Umm, what did you say, I couldn’t hear you.” He said, “If you're even talking to me.” That last part was a bit more of a mumble. The woman then looked up at him and said…

“Oh umm, I said that you look pretty! Yeah, that’s what I said” The woman said but she sounded like she was trying to be confident in what she was saying. But Theo could pick up on that and say this.

“If you're trying to hit on me, don’t. I already have a partner.” Theo said with a snarky face. The woman hefted and looked away. Eventually, she got her stuff and moved to a different cart. This all happened on the way to Cantina. Once he had got there, he got off the train and got his stuff. He walked to the front of the station trying to get a taxi. Once he got one, he put his stuff in the back and sat in the second row. He, again, went on his phone and played games and listened to music till they got to the Airbnb that he had bought for about 2 weeks.

He looked up at the beauty that was the house. It was a white house with arches and shutters a beautiful bright green color. The house also had all these vines and flowers that were growing around the house. It was truly a beautiful house. He had the key on his phone. He went in and it was stunning. He went to his bedroom and there was a balcony with a view worth a million dollars. It was the best view that Theo had ever had in his life. But he was tired. So he got his shoes off and started to drift asleep unaware of what his life was gonna be like in less than 48 hours…
