The Life Behind Famous Tiktoker Nick Kosir
Q: How often do you get noticed in public?
A: I get noticed in public all the time especially when I’m wearing a suit. And I love it. I’ll be sad when it stops happening.
Q: Does your social media life and your work life ever overwhelm you? And if it does, why does it overwhelm you?
A: Yes, my social media and work schedule are always overwhelming but it’s a challenge that I enjoy and it’s something that I find fun to try to figure out. I try to remember that it’s a marathon and not a sprint
Q: Do you ever get over lapse with your schedule in your social media and your work? How do you deal with those times?
A: My work schedule and social media schedule never overlap. I always do social media on nights and weekends on my own time and if they ever do overlap, I always choose work before social media.
Q: Do you plan on doing social media full time or do you like what you're doing right now?
A: For now I plan on doing work and social together but you never know what the future holds and I’m obviously going to stay open to any and every opportunity that come my direction.
Q: How do you feel about your son having a social media account and what that could bring with you being his father?
A: It’s funny my son does not have social media and he never has really expressed a want for social media which has been great. Actually, I think the longer he goes without social the better. And in terms of me being his dad, it seems like that has been well received amongst his peers and the minute that I hear otherwise, I will stop and reassess what I’m doing.
Q: How did you get to where you are today TikTok-wise?
A: I got to where I am Tik Tok wise by being an early adapter and jumping into TikTok sooner rather than later, and also posting very consistently for many weeks, I tried to post at least one time every day
Q: What was your first therapist appointment like? Why?
A: My first therapy appointment was a little bit weird and uncomfortable for me in my generation being a male and talking about your feelings was not encouraged openly. So it was interesting to do that for the first time in front of a complete stranger but once the floodgates opened, I leaned into it, and it was the best thing possible.
Q: Does your social anxiety still affect you today? Why?
A: My social anxiety doesn’t really impact me anymore because therapy helped me get through it anytime I do feel a little anxiety or nervousness I realize that it’s OK and I now know how to cope with it and also a little bit of both of those things are actually normal
Q: Have you ever regretted being sober? Or are you happy with what you did?
A: I have never once regretted being sober. It was the best decision of my life and I wish I would’ve done it 10 years sooner.
