Toe Shoes 

I pull the string of the needle through the silk 
The needle in is a bit of a pick 
The shoe that I am to brand 
To which the foot commands 

 

A toe shoe is what they say it is
But they need a quiz… 
These shoes live like no other 
They live only to make the user suffer 

 

They live not a long life 
To life, they use a knife… 
A tool to create a perfect shoe 
To bind the layers, to use is glue 

 

The ribbons to which they are to be sewn 
The strength of a stone 
The shoe that I love and hate 
But what a beautiful piece it will create…
